Egg Salad! (x.x Okay, this is the last egg for a while…)
Y’know, there are some days in my life when I look at the misfortunes of others and feel better because of them. It’s not because I’m a mean person, but it makes me appreciate what I have just a tiny bit more. I suppose it’s a lapse of my whining in how bad my life is or how much better it could be.
I mean, I saw a legless guy in a wheelchair with bad teeth and plastic bags full of stuff ask me for fifty cents that I didn’t have to buy cupcakes. And then I saw a bearded guy in a shabby coat smoking and keeping up a conversation to someone who wasn’t there…For hours. And then I saw a guy with a scrappy beard and half of his jaw walk after a couple saying “Hey, man. Man. Hey, man. Hey, man!” which, naturally, only caused the couple to walk faster. Yeah…Washington D.C. Our nation’s capital, and I was getting creeped out amidst the gas stations there. x.x
Peh…I’ve never had quite enough time to post on this obsessively like I used to; maybe in a few days, though…n.n;
