Ketchup (and relish!)

Meh. Yes, as usual, I haven’t been typing in my blog, lately. It’s a bad habit that needs to change! =B

Part of me wants to say that my life has been a lot more exciting since I’ve last posted. I’d love to say that I found love, got a raise, and went to Vegas since our last Ketchup. But then I’d be lying, and I don’t do that. ^^;; At least, not here.

Work’s been doing just fine. Granted, I haven’t been going to FNM because of it for the past month, but the pay’s been excellent and I’ve been getting a free sub every day. The people I work with- managers included- have been some of the most sensible, understanding people I’ve ever worked with…But I’ve said that already, didn’t I? In a nutshell, Subway rocks; and I’d like to hope I’ll be working there through college. The new Steak’s out, now; and although I hate the taste of the Blackened Cajun stuff, chunky > shredded when it comes to steak. Or beef in general. And, as an added bonus, I have tomorrow off. Woot.

Every wednesday, my mom has off of work. And every wednesday, she manages to wake my lazy ass up. How? One word: Smile. Smile is a christian thrift store that also works as a place to feed the homeless. Being the cynical agnostic that I am, the only reason why I go to this place is because every once in a while they have some pretty awesome stuff. A few weeks ago I managed to nab a disco ball (..please, don’t ask me where I’m going to put it!); last wednesday I got a Las Vegas dice piggy-bank for a dollar. =\ I know how mostly old ladies mill to and from yard sales and thrift stores, but to be honest I enjoy finding something that I like costing dirt-cheap when it should be costing an arm and a leg. But the real reason why I go there is for the books. ^-^ Granted, being the good Christains that they are I somehow doubt I’d find the Torah, or the tenets of Confucianism there (I haven’t yet..). However, being that Adam and Eve picked up the whole Original Sin, they aren’t perfect. I picked up hardcover copies of some pretty surprising things, ranging from the controversial to the naughty. >=D But as for good books, I’ve picked up dozens at a time, often a lot quicker than I read them all.

Oh, and another thing: Kristen, I was making a blog as soon as you asked for a pic. So here y’go. XP I told you I looked terrible!
