Games, Cards, and More; but First, a Dump in the Box From Our Sponsor…

Yeah, Gamestop pretty much took a big dump on my Christmas.

I say so because on Christmas Day, with all of the pretty lights on the tree and the presents arranged perfectly, two of the games didn’t even have anything in them; no manuels, no games, nothing. Worse, my mom lost the receipt! >.< It was a pretty big disappointment, although my dad, my little sister and I all went to Gamestop and got the games we needed. Apparantly, it was easy to tell because we had the ‘display cases’…So he didn’t need any receipt. Or any proof, really.

I was so on the verge of spilling all the good stuff on the games I got…But I’m tired and, therefore, grumpy. Expect a synopsis tomorrow. =)

    Y’know, I never did check back to tell what had happened. ^^;

    I had gotten a few games for Christmas, but for Red Steel and Trauma Center the games weren’t in it. =\ I dunno’ who was more of an idiot: the guy working there who forgot to put the games in, or me for not noticing. The good news is that I got the games the second I had shown them the empty boxes; apparantly, it happens all the time.

    Red Steel’s fun, although it feels like a Japanophile made it. Seriously. A beautiful Japanese woman who’s a bit nervous who’s the daughter of a higher-up Yakuza, engaged to a run-of-the-mill gaijin who suddenly has an affinity for guns and swordplay the moment his love is kidnapped? Yeah, I’m not one who’s stuck in realism…But come the fsck on.

    Trauma Center’s addicting. >.< It’s a futuristic-esque game- hence why the ‘healing touch’ and injections that help restore wounds are even plausible- but I enjoy it thoroughly. =( I need to play Twilight Princess more, though…It’s making me feel bad, how little I’ve played such an awesome game..
